Marrakech has always been the city that surprises us. Its countless monuments and amazing landscapes have proved that to us before. And now, Marrakech has done it again.

No, it’s not one of the other Fes To Marrakech Desert Tours, this time Marrakech has amazed us with the MACAAL – Musée d’Art Contemporain Africain Al Maaden.

Marrakech has been attracting writers, artists, and designers since the early ‘20s. Both Yves Saint Laurent and Talitha Getty were inspired by Marrakech’s exotic landscapes, delicious food, and amazing scenery.

And if those amazing celebrities weren’t enough, the Rolling Stones had decided Marrakech as their yearly vacation destination.

A new beginning – to heirlooms.

El Glaoui, in February 2018, composed the second edition of the 1-54 Contemporary African Fair. His show hosted galleries that originate from eleven countries – totalling at 18 galleries.

El Glaoui collaborated with Marrakech’s galleries, including MACAAL and other museums.

We’re still waiting on his response to our complimentary Fes To Marrakech Desert Tours.

An imperial gem.

Marrakech is working towards the 2020 African Capital Of Culture. Our Fes To Marrakech Desert Tours will have a new itinerary by then.

Events like 1-54 and the Triennial Africities summit, held in 2018, have made MACAAL even more noticeable.

MACAAL has become an essential destination for travellers of art. Those who adore Morocco, Marrakech, and art will surely adore MACAAL. The latter is now becoming one of the main destinations in all of Africa.
